I had a little interview with my Vice Principal to hear what kind of advice she would give young parents like myself going to school.
Q: How does Burnhamthorpe accomodate students like me
*offer classes of all levels
*variety of different classes
*recognize difficulties that students faces
*provide good teachers to keep students engaged
*provide healthy breakfast
*accept everyone regardless of their limitations and issues
Q:How would I communicate with a teacher who doesn’t understand my situation?
*talk to the teacher and explain your situation
*if that doesnt work out talk to the head of the department and let them know the teacher didnt listen
*then the Principal or Vice-Principal
*if none of the above dont work phone the superintendent
Q:What are some of the program’s available at the school for people like me if any?
*All the programs especially the daycare
Q:How would you help young students with kids to be successful in school?
*advocate to help young people get through the system
*meet with them
*help them fill out necessary forms
*open doors and provide information where possible
Q:What ways can teachers differentiate their teaching methods/expectations and projects for students like me?
*give them more work that can be done at home
*online work if possible
*flexible deadlines
